The most prominent part of Zanavykai womens’ holiday outfit is the apron. In the folk tradition, it is linked to women's aspiration for decency and fertility. The Zanavykai Museum holds sixteen aprons that reflect the fashion of different ages. Aprons shown in the virtual exhibition are made between the second half of 19th century and the 4-7 decades of the 20th century.
The main motif of ornament is the lily-tulip ring, which came to the region of Suvalkija (Sudovia) from the luxurious silk and damask fabrics of 17th-18th centuries (through craft productions done in the manors).
